Beaphar Care+ Senior Rabbit is a tasty premium feed for senior rabbits from the age of 6. Care+ pellets are created through an "extrusion" (heating) process to facilitate the digestion of proteins for older rabbits. It is specially composed with ingredients that meet a senior rabbits nutritional needs, with a balanced ratio of unsaturated fatty acid Omega 3 and 6's (from wheat, soy and flaxseed) and a balanced crude fibre ratio. Essential antioxidants have also been added in the form of Vitamin C and E, green tea and ginseng, which help boost the rabbit's natural resistance. Moreover, Care+ for Senior Rabbits does not contain any additional sugar and has a low protein level to combat weight gain in less active rabbits. The pellets further comply with a rabbit's natural feeding patterns. Each pellet has the same composition of essential nutrients, to prevent selective feeding. The pellet structure promotes the natural wear of teeth.
