Equistro Flexadin UC II is a food supplement that can contribute to an optimal condition of your horse's joints. This supplement is based on a unique concept; it is made of a patented type II collagen (UC II), MSM and manganese. Collagen can contribute to healthy joints. MSM is a naturally occurring sulphuric connection that occurs in many foods and is important for the cartilage. Manganese plays an important role in the production of collagen.

UC II

Collagen type II is the most important protein from cartilage, providing firmness and tensile strength. When this is damaged, the body can see this collagen as a foreign agent. The immune system attacks the collagen, which can do further damage to the cartilage and leads to a deterioration of the symptoms.

The type II collagen that is used in most supplements is often heated at high temperatures or treated with chemicals. Equistro Flexadin UC II contains a pure form of collagen type II with an unchanged structure. By providing your horse with this supplement, the horse's body will start to recognise this substance again and the immune system will stop attacking the cartilage. This has a positive influence on the joints and helps your horse to move supply.

Dosage

We recommend that you maintain an initial dosage of 1 ½ scoops (15 grams) of this supplement for the first twelve weeks. After this period, you can give your horse 1 scoop (10 grams) daily. The first signs of improvement should be visible after 4 to 6 weeks. If you have not seen any positive results after 16 weeks, continuing to use this supplement will probably not help your horse.

Use

Equistro Flexadin UC II can be mixed with the horse's feed daily. The scoop is included. Banana flavour has been added to this supplement to make it more palatable to your horse. Equistro Flexadin UC II is doping-free.

One pot of Equistro Flexadin UC II contains 600 grams. This is sufficient for approximately 5 to 8 weeks (based on a 500 kg horse).
