HabiStat Spider Substrate is specifically developed for spiders, scorpions, millipedes, and other burrowing species living in moist environments. The natural mix retains moisture and releases it slowly to keep humidity stable. The particles allow the substrate to breathe and support the digging of burrows and tunnels without collapsing. Thanks to its composition, the material closely matches the natural needs of these animals. The substrate is non-toxic, non-abrasive, and highly absorbent. All HabiStat substrates are packaged in recyclable and biodegradable paper bags. Before use, distribute the substrate into a layer about five centimetres deep.
