Medicare is suitable for dogs and cats with poor appetite or for excessively picky eaters. It not only offers a tasty variety to encourage your pet to eat, but also facilitates digestion in cases where digestive problems play a role in the lack of appetite. Medicare provides natural food ingredients with a high energy content, a high content of essential nutrients and highly digestible ingredients. Medicare (liquid) is made from meat, eggs and skim milk and contains neither grains nor soya. Due to its exquisite composition, Medicare is particularly suitable for cats.

Medicare is a ready to use and an excellent solution (tasty and easily digestible) when solid food is not accepted or is not suitable, such as during illness, injury or after surgery. Medicare is liquid enough to be applied via syringe, tube or bottle, but it is also viscous enough to be swallowed.

    Dosage:

Medicare provides valuable nutrients in an easily digestible form as a supplement to a normal diet. The dosage during this period (as a supplement to the regular diet) amounts to one third of the pack per day. Shake the container before opening. The opened package should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 48 hours. Allow Medicare to reach room temperature before it is fed to your pet.

    Application:

    • As food for older pets: Older animals are often no longer able to easily digest food. Medicare is an excellent solution in these cases. In addition to the flavour when mixed with other foods, it also wets the other dry food and allows this to be swallowed more easily. If Medicare is given to older cats, the amount should equal around a quarter to half a pack per day, divided into three meals. For dogs, depending on the weight: one half to a full pack per day, divided into three meals.
    • As (transitional) food for weaning puppies and kittens: Medicare is excellent during the transition from weaning to solid food. The maximum dose is half a pack, divided into three small meals per day, starting at the age of 4-6 weeks. From the age of 6 weeks Medicare should always be mixed with solid foods. It is recommended to continue this up to an age of around 20 weeks.

It is advisable to consult a specialist before use and read the packaging leaflet carefully!
