Moderna Litter Box Lift to Sift

I would have given 5 stars but the high back part of the litter tray was not included in the delivery package. I’m not so bothered by this, as I bought it to put inside a very large covered litter box.

Minimises spraying of litter. Easy to keep clean. We use biodegradable clumping litter and scoop out poop and urine twice a day. Every couple of days we lift and sift. Plenty of space for our large older cat to turn and bury successfully. As with any litter tray...up to the human to keep it clean, but this is the best cat litter box I’ve used in 30 years of cat ownership.

Brilliant. I am quite fussy and spent a long time comparing sifting litter trays and reading reviews. I decided on this moderna lift and sift and it is fantastic. It works well and really takes seconds to do. I love how it's super easy. I use world's best cat litter with it which is small grains like sand and is flushable. I have the litter tray beside the toilet in the bathroom and I sift the poos and pop the poos down the toilet. Really easy and simple. Wouldn't have anything else but you wouldn't be able to use catsan or wood pellets with this box as you have to use fine sand like cat litter.

I bought this tray as we have two cats and use clumping litter - so the tray quickly fills with 'clumps' where they have peed. I find they are too big or break apart when I try to scoop them with a normal scoop, so there would be a strong smell of cat urine all the time. This tray is great because it keeps the clumps together and it's so easy to use, so it's only fresh litter left in the tray each day, and the smell has improved by 90% - it's never going to smell like roses but there's a definite improvement! Well worth the money in my opinion.
