Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and feed to be exposed to the active ingredient. FRONTPRO kills fleas within 8 hours, before they can lay eggs, and ticks within 48 hours. They therefore prevent flea infestation of the living space.
If you prefer not to use chemical insecticides, there is a natural flea and tick tablet for dogs. An example is the Bio Food Garlic tablets. Most natural products are mainly repellent. This makes it difficult to predict the effectiveness beforehand.
