Key features of each ingredient
- Biotin and Silicea are proven nutritional supplements that stimulate hoof growth.
- Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin sulphate (90%) encourage collagen formation and the production of proteoglycans (PGs), which strengthen collagen. Damage to the hoof tissue can lead to loss of PGs, causing the supporting collagen to be impaired. This makes the tissue more susceptible to inflammation and atrophy, which is difficult to recover from. Groene Os Hoof Compositum can prevent and/or aid recovery from this situation.
- Calcium, magnesium and vitamin C also strengthen the tissues in the horse's body.
- Cynare scolymus, Carduus Marianus, Taraxacum officinale, Centaurium, etc. are included to promote proper liver function. According to acupuncture theory, poorly developed hooves are due to an insufficient liver function. These ingredients expedite the removal of waste from the liver and can help the construction of new liver tissue.
- MSM: organic sulphur contributes to a good quality cell wall, allowing nutrients into the cell while toxins are expelled. MSM is an important source of sulphur.
Dosage and administration
