Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Small Dog

The protein source is a hydrolysate of isolated soy protein. Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dog is hypoallergenic (very rarely leads to a hypersensitivity reaction) and is very easily digestible. The composition ensures minimal water loss and reinforces the protective function of the skin. Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) have an anti-inflammatory effect. The combination of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and zeolite (a specific mineral) promotes a balanced intestinal flora and helps protect the intestinal wall. Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dog is gluten-free and lactose-free.

Use for

• Food allergy (dermatological conditions and/or digestive problems)
• Food intolerance
• Elimination diet (when food allergies are suspected)
• Chronic enteritis/Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
• Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)

Food hypersensitivity

Food hypersensitivity occurs when a dog is hypersensitive to a certain component in its diet. The component in the diet to which the animal is hypersensitive is called the allergen. When treating an animal for food hypersensitivity, your veterinarian will prescribe a special diet food for your dog, such as Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Small Dog. This food has a small chunk size and is suitable for small dogs weighing up to 10 kg.

The food can be used immediately, without a transition period. The treatment can be used for life.

(History of) pancreatitis, Hyperlipidaemia, in case of pregnancy/lactating.

Rice, hydrolysate from isolated soy protein, animal fats, minerals, hydrolysate of poultry liver, beet pulp, soya oil, fructooligosaccharides, fish oil, taurine, borage oil, L-tyrosine, Tagetes (marigold) extract (source of lutein).

Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie

For dogs prone to weight gain, castrated and older dogs, there is Royal Canin Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie Dog. This contains less energy and has a reduced phosphorus content.
