    Almo Nature HFC 70 Natural Cat Food - Canned Food - Tuna and Shrimps

    This tasty and classic canned meal is prepared with natural ingredients and contains no less than 75% fish. All fish is caught fresh from the sea (not farmed).

    Preperation method:

    The fish, meat and vegetables are cooked and processed without chemical treatment and then preserved in their own cooking water. By using this process, nutrients are retained and the fish, meat and vegetables stay rich in natural vitamins and minerals. A small amount of rice is then added to the meal. These Almo Nature meals contain no chemical preservatives or colourings. This pure and classic meal is simple and natural and cats think it tastes great.

    Tuna 55%, Rice 1%, Shrimp 20%, Fish stock 24%

    Almo's nutritional advice

    Almo Nature recommends that cats are fed with 60% wet food and 40% dry food for optimal balance.

    Classic or HFC?

    The difference is that HFC has higher meat percentage than Classic, and that the Classic is slightly lower in calories.

    I have 3 cats, one of whom is a very finicky eater and basically doesn't like anything except dried but the other 2 will go through fire and rain to get to a bowl of this, they both love it and every scrap is eaten, if the bowl is left down they will go back to it to rummage for every last morsel. When opened It smells fresh and clean with no overwhelming seafoody odour and looks like the sort of tin of tuna you would open for yourself, pieces not pate, but with the addition of a very small bit of coooked rice and recognisable shrimps. Almo's Natural range is a supplementary food not a complete meal so I always have baked kibble and water available as well.
