When should you use recovery food for your rabbit?

Recovery food is specially developed to provide rabbits that temporarily do not want or are unable to eat by themselves with the right nutrients. These feeds are easy to digest, energy-rich and contain all essential vitamins, minerals and fibres to support the digestive system and promote recovery.

Sometimes it is necessary to feed your rabbit manually with a syringe or through supportive feeding. The Savic Feeding Syringe Nutribird S50 is very useful if you need to syringe feed your rabbit. Recovery foods for rabbits are suitable to prepare as liquid supportive feed.

Note: a rabbit that stops eating is always an emergency. Always contact your vet.
