Smoofl is a Belgian brand that helps you make the most delicious and healthy homemade treats for your dog. It all started with some dog biscuits and a Christmas gift. Tineke, the owner of the company, gave her sister-in-law a bone-shaped baking tin for Christmas because she was the proud owner of Bacchus, a Dachshund. While getting the gift she came up with the brilliant idea to create healthy dog-friendly recipes for dog biscuits. She tried some of the recipes and let Bacchus test them. After his approval, she started the company with baking mixes and later expanded to ice cream mixes as well.
The name of the company, Smoofl, is derived from the Flemish word 'Smoefelen' - a verb that means thoroughly enjoying every bite of your food. It's the perfect name for these delicious recipes!
