Trixie 4-way Cat Flap with Tunnel

The Trixie 4-way Cat Flap with Tunnel is a practical addition to your home. It fits in walls and thick doors, with a transparent flap and tunnel element allowing your cat to get in and out of the house. The tunnel has an installation depth of at least 20mm. If desired, the tunnel can be extended with extra tunnel elements. The flap itself makes very little noise and can be adjusted in different directions. This is especially useful in the evening or when you're away from home, because you can easily close the flap.

Trixie 4-Way Cat Flap with Tunnel reviews
  • Not good.
By Boris Burnett, Friday 26 April 2024

The cat flap looks great and is a fantastic size for our Maine Coon as he is a big lad!! Locking system works well and (I found) it was easy to fit. The only reason for a 1 star review is that the flap does not seal and there is always a gap between flap and the main body of the cat flap. This allows the flap to "flap" back and forth whenever there is any sort of a breeze. We have it in an external door leading to a small corridor and whenever any of the doors are opened, the flap "flaps" back and forth. Prior to being told that this is because of the positioning of the cat flap, this item has just replaced a smaller cat flap that didn't flap in the breeze, nor does the other cat flap in one of the other doors in the corridor. A stronger magnet, or a seal around the flap, may stop this unwanted and anoying “flapping". Come winter I think it will be flapping "like a good 'un" and my energy bills will go through the roof. It is a great pity as this is just what I was after, the size is spot on. It's got to go. Sorry I would not recommend this cat flap.

Looks good , bit tricky to make the tunnel fit. Is not draught proof at all , shame.
