The Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets NF Early Care Renal Function dry food is ideally suited for cats with kidney failure. The food contains limited but high-quality proteins and a restricted phosphorus level. This, in combination with added omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, and antioxidants, helps support the kidneys.

The complete diet is specially developed for use during the early stages of kidney failure. Kidney failure is categorised into 4 stages, the IRIS stages. Early Care is recommended during IRIS stages 1 and 2.

In addition to the dry food, there are also Early Care pouches.
