Exo Terra Jungle Earth is a biodegradable terrarium substrate made from 100% natural and sustainable pine wood chips. It is ideal for tropical and woodland terrarium setups and is suitable for moisture-loving reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. The hygroscopic properties of the substrate naturally regulate humidity by absorbing moisture and releasing it slowly. The finely shredded bark particles encourage natural digging and nesting behaviours, enabling reptiles to form sturdy burrows. Jungle Earth is heat-treated to prevent bacterial contamination and is completely dust-free. The substrate is also odour-absorbing and contributes to a hygienic terrarium climate.
