Hill's s/d Feline has been specially developed for cats suffering from urinary tract conditions. Hill s/d Prescription Diet was composed by veterinarians to dissolve struvite crystals and stones in your cat.

Please note: Don't feed this food for longer than 3 months. Only keep feeding this food after this period when recommended by your veterinarian.

Struvite

Urinary tract conditions are often caused by the formation of mineral-based crystals and stones in the urinary tract. These stones and crystals can cause discomfort, and may result in blood in the urine and even life-threatening obstructions. Struvite occurs when there is too much protein, phosphorus and magnesium in the urine, along with an alkaline urinary pH.

Not suitable for

• Kittens
• Pregnant or lactating cats
• Cats that receive simultaneous urinary acidifiers
• Cats with non-struvite bladder stones
• Cats with kidney disease, low potassium, heart problems or hypertension

Adjust the amount to maintain optimal body weight.

Composition

Hill's s/d Urinary Care - Prescription Diet - Feline - Kibbles

Ingredients: with chicken: chicken (18%) and turkey meal, brewers' rice, maize, animal fat, maize gluten meal, soybean oil, dried whole egg, minerals, digest, vitamins, taurine, trace elements and beta-carotene. With a natural antioxidant (mixed tocopherols).

Nutritional contents: protein: 32.1 %, fat: 22.9 %, carbohydrate (NFE): 31.0 %, crude fibre: 0.7 %, calcium: 0.87 %, phospohorus: 0.69 %, potassium: 0.91 %, sodium: 0.32 %, magnesium: 0.061 %, taurine: 0.19 %, vitamin C: 0 ppm, vitamin E: 324 IU/kg, L-carnitine: 19.9 ppm.
