Specific Kidney Support Hydrolysed FKD is a complete dietary food for adult cats with chronic kidney insufficiency. The food contains easily digestible, hydrolysed salmon proteins and an adjusted level of protein and minerals, tailored for cats with reduced kidney function. The increased level of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) from fish oil and krill supports the heart and healthy blood pressure. The reduced protein content, added potassium citrate and the urine-alkalising properties also contribute to reducing the formation of calcium oxalate, urate, and cystine crystals. Additionally, the inclusion of fermentable fibres and AuraGuard helps support a balanced gut flora.

Use

Specific Kidney Support Hydrolysed FKD is intended for long-term use in adult cats with chronic kidney insufficiency. The daily amount depends on the body weight, condition, and individual need of your cat. Ideally, divide the daily portion into several meals and always ensure plenty of fresh drinking water.

Use of this dietary food should always take place in consultation with your veterinarian. Regular monitoring of kidney values is advised to closely monitor the progress.
