The Back Zoo Nature Humus Brick is a natural substrate made from coconut bark and compressed into a compact brick. By adding water, the brick expands into a loose and airy humus with plenty of volume. This bedding retains moisture well and supports a stable humidity level in the terrarium or cage, contributing to a fresh and healthy environment. Its structure allows animals to root, dig, and forage, stimulating natural behaviour and creating a naturally arranged habitat. The humus is 100% natural and biodegradable.

Usage

Add 2.8 litres of water to create a dense layer (2 to 4 cm) of Humus Bedding in the habitat. One brick produces approximately 9 litres of bedding. Occasionally stir the Humus Bedding so that it looks and smells fresh again. The bedding can remain good for up to around 4 weeks before needing replacement, depending on the number of pets, maintenance, and space.
