Pheromones are natural chemical substances produced by the body. There are various pheromones, each causing a different response. Beaphar CaniComfort Spray contains a copy of the reassuring pheromone, or DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromone). The spray is ideal for use when travelling and for visits to the vet. For the best effect, the car can be sprayed 15 minutes before departure.

If your dog shows signs of stress at home as well as, for example, during a visit to the vet, there is also a diffuser available that can be plugged into a socket at home.

Usage

The spray can be used in the car or on the crate/basket or a favourite blanket. It can also be used on objects that come into contact with your dog, such as the collar and lead. It can also be applied to new objects or furniture to help prevent unwanted behaviour. First use the product on an inconspicuous area to make sure it does not cause stains.
Spray the crate or car 15 minutes before departure. About 8 sprays are recommended per application. The product is effective for approximately 5 hours.

Never spray directly on your dog and do not spray when your dog is in the crate.
