A food allergy means that your dog is overly sensitive to certain ingredients in the diet. It is important to avoid these ingredients. Reactions such as scratching, rubbing, and biting are slowly reduced. Calibra Ultra Hypoallergenic Insect Protein is based on insect protein, which is a new and unknown protein for the immune system. The combination of insect and rice starch will therefore rarely cause a hypersensitivity reaction.

Usage

The period of use should be 3 to 8 weeks; if signs of intolerance disappear, this food can initially be used for up to one year. During the elimination diet, the dog must not eat anything else. No treats, canned food, or any other food should be given. Even one treat or a scrap from the table is too much. Fresh drinking water must always be available. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use and before extending the period of use.
