With Canina Algae Lime, you have a natural calcium source for your dog or cat. The marine algae in this product is a natural source of calcium, magnesium and other minerals. Calcium supports bone metabolism and contributes to strong teeth. With magnesium added, Algae calcium supports muscle function and nerves. If your dog or cat has an allergy to an animal protein, Algae Lime is a good alternative to other calcium sources, such as meat-and-bone meal or eggshell powder. It is also suitable for adding to a BARF diet.

Usage

You mix the dosage below into your dog's or cat's food. The recommended amount depends on age, weight, physical performance, gestation, lactation and type of food.

Pregnant bitches from the 6th week of gestation and lactating bitches (depending on the number of pups) give 0.6 g to 0.8 g per kg body weight

Pregnant cats from the 6th week of gestation and lactating bitches (depending on the number of kittens) give 0.3 g to 0.5 g per kg body weight
