Colour

The coat colour of the Korat is silver-blue-grey. Most ends of the hair are silver-coloured, which gives a nice shimmer. The nose is dark blue/grey and the paw pads are pinkish to dark blue.

Body, legs and tail

The medium-sized body of the Korat is not compact, but not slender either. The back is slightly arched. The body is powerful and muscular. The breed has longer hind legs than front legs with oval feet. The tail of the Korat is medium-length and is broad at the base, then thins out to a rounded end.

Head, ears and eyes

The Korat has a heart-shaped head with a flat forehead. A slight stop can be seen between the forehead and the nose. The cheeks are firm and strongly developed. The snout is neither pointed nor square. The nose is long and slightly rounded at the end. The chin is also firm and well developed. The jaws are strong. The Korat has large ears which are broad at the base. The tips are slightly rounded. Because they are placed high on the head, the Korat always seems alert. The outer side of the ear is covered with short hairs. The Korat has round and large eyes. They are set apart and slightly slanted. The eye colour should preferably be deep green, but amber eyes are also allowed. The Korat has two large arches above the eyes.
