Usage

Mix the elm bark with water and allow it to soak for about 10 minutes before mixing it into the food. European elm bark does not form a mucous layer but works through the natural tannins. For mild irritation of the gastrointestinal tract, it may be beneficial, upon consultation, to add a mucilage-rich supplement such as cdVet Gastro Protection for extra soothing.

Dosage

Use the recommended amount of 2 grams per 10 kg body weight (half a teaspoon is approximately 1 g).
