    Dermazyme Zinc

Dermazyme Zinc (previously Zinpro) is a food supplement for dogs and cats based on zinc-methionine, Vitamin A and B to help repair damaged skin and replenish zinc deficiencies.

    Key features

Dermazyme Zinc promotes the treatment of skin conditions, supports the treatment of local or general abnormal hardening of the skin and helps reduce the production of excess sebum that can be trapped between the hairs. Dermazyme Zinc is also ideal for helping the body absorb higher levels of vitamin A and zinc.

    Key features of each ingredient

Zinc improves the structure of the skin and the quality of the coat. Methionine is necessary to preserve the integrity of the skin and healthy hardened skin production (coat and claws). Vitamin A has a regulatory role in cell metabolism, and makes for a well-constructed epithelial tissue (top layer of skin and mucous membranes), and keeps this tissue intact. In addition, it also promotes the function of the sebaceous glands. Biotin plays an important role in hair growth and in the continual renewal of the skin. Brewer's yeast is rich in vitamin B group which stimulate hair growth and reduce the sebaceous gland production.

    Recommended for

    Supporting the treatment of:

    • Local or generally increased sebum secretion.
    • Defects in the nose and on the soles.
    • Disturbances in the hyperkeratosis.

    • A reduced absorption of zinc as a result of...

For both dogs and cats: 1 tablet per 8 kg of body weight per day for 3 to 4 weeks (during a case of severe deficiency and after consulting your vet, the dosage can be doubled to 1 tablet per 4 kg). I have been giving my dog these pills for 13 years and they have enabled him to have a healthy life which otherwise would have been possible . If your pet has a zinc deficiency which causes skin breakdown I can not recommend them highly enough.

Having a dog that suffers from zinc deficiency and having tried many other zinc products we have found this has been the best one yet. She’d been suffering from a flare up following an operation that we just couldn’t get under control! The use of these these tablets has helped. The combination of zinc and vitamin A really makes a difference, ZRD is a horrible disease that leaves the dogs with extremely itching sores which can get really bad with hair loss, mainly on their face. It also leaves them very depressed!
