    Dermoscent BIOBALM ®

    The moisturising balm helps smooth the skin and has a soothing effect on dry, chapped and rough skin in dogs. This plant-based balm is Vaseline-free, does not contain any preservatives or added fragrances, but has a natural composition of soya oil and the essential oil of Cajeputi. Dermoscent BIOBALM ® is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin.

    Skin Conditions

    This balm can also be used to treat hyperkeratosis of the nose. Normally a dog's nose should be moist, but this skin condition causes the nose to become dry, rough and thick, developing a brownish colour. This callus can also occur on the footpads (palmar-plantar hyperkeratosis). This skin will not disappear, but the skin can be supported with a soothing ointment such as Dermoscent BIOBALM ®.

    Use:

    Apply two to three times a day to dry, chapped and rough skin. Ensure skin is clean and dry before application. If you think that you need to use it more frequently, this is no problem. It is recommended that you use BIOBALM ® daily if your dog suffers from sensitive skin.

    Dermoscent BIOBALM ® - 50ml

    This balm, intended for, among other things, a dry dog’s nose, smells incredibly strong of eucalyptus. How can a balm for a dog’s nose smell so overpowering? A dog uses its very sensitive nose for its entire social life/sniffing/investigation. It’s like rubbing Vicks under our nose. It also gets licked off very easily by the dog (taste was fine according to the dog). I expected more of a wax with a neutral scent. Not recommended.

    My English bulldog had a very dry nose. It almost looked like crystal, with little flakes. It looked very strange. After a few applications, his beautiful nose reappeared. I thought, already? Really happy with it... definitely recommend it! He also has some calluses on his paw pads. I apply it there as well, and the calluses are also reducing now. Happy!
