    DiReNe

DiReNe by DRN supports your dog or cat when the kidneys are no longer functioning properly. In addition to medication and dietary food, this supplement can support the kidneys and improve quality of life in a natural way.

    Features

    • Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi) is a fungus known for its cortisone-like effect and provides support in cases of kidney inflammation.
    • Astragalus is an herbaceous plant and increases the excretion of sodium, resulting in less protein loss in the urine.
    • Turmeric has an anti-inflammatory effect.
    • DiReNe contains chitosan. This helps to lower the phosphorus level.
    • Quercetin has an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and protective effect against free radicals.
    • Yucca helps reduce nitrogen to a normal level.
    • Cranberry has a beneficial effect on the lower urinary tract. It helps prevent bacteria from attaching and lowers uric acid, which may be responsible for the formation of urate stones.

DiReNe - Paste reviews
  • The syringe has to be forced in
By Mu, Saturday 30 May 2026
    DiReNe Paste - 15 ml

The syringe is not okay. It should be easy to press. Impossible with an unwilling cat. You should be able to get it in with a split-second action. Now it’s a fight without the syringe fully in its mouth. Returning another syringe is also impossible through this site. Very expensive stuff. Had high hopes for administration. Completely hopeless like this.

  • Poor Acceptance

    DiReNe Paste - 15 ml

My tomcat, who normally eats without any problems, unfortunately doesn't like this paste. The dosing syringe also doesn't work perfectly; it either releases nothing or too much, even when I'm not pressing harder.

  • Kidney Insufficiency, Cats 16 Years Old

    DiReNe Paste - 15 ml

I have been giving DIRENE to my elderly cats for 2 years now, mixing half a tablet with 1 ml of Ipakitine into their wet food. The cats have become much more lively and spirited. They also have less of the uraemic smell from their mouths. I would recommend it to everyone, even from 8 years old, to give it as a twice-yearly treatment.
