I have always used Cat's Best for my puppies and then came across Dog's Best. From my personal experience and judging by the ingredients, it is the same as Cat's Best. When I asked the manufacturer about the difference, they said Dog's Best was more absorbent. I tested it myself and couldn’t notice any difference, so I will continue sticking with Cat's Best.

I use this dog litter for my shih tzu who has a special litter tray with grating (i used the rascal dog litter tray). I previously used the cat version and found that the dog version absorbs the dog urine smell much better than the cat version (which seems obvious from the name!). It clumps well - exactly like the cat version and flushes down well. I would prefer if it were sold in larger bags but since they seem to be the only ones sold in UK in this size, it will have to do!
