Douxo Spa Anti-Odour Dog Shampoo

Our Boxador is quite sensitive, so I’m rather critical about dog shampoos. This one doesn’t cause any irritation to the skin or eyes, and he’s not itchy after a wash. It’s not a very handy pump bottle that you can easily take with you leak-free if you go away for a weekend with your four-legged friend. It cleans the dirt well from my Boxador’s short coat, and also from the denser short coat of my Vizsla. Both love rolling in mess, so I’ve tested it thoroughly. The smell really disappears when I use this shampoo. Definitely a keeper.

I have used this shampoo a few times now for our Pomsky, who with his thick coat can sometimes have a typical “dog smell.” I was curious if this shampoo would actually help with that, so I decided to give it a try. While washing, I noticed it lathers well and makes the coat easy to comb afterwards. We have a fresh-smelling dog again; the scent lingers pleasantly without being overpowering, and the coat shines beautifully. I also find the pump on the bottle very handy, as it allows for easy dosing without any mess or the bottle tipping over.
