    Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support

Dr Ann's supplements help your pet stay as healthy and vital as possible. Developed by veterinarians and based on the most up-to-date veterinary knowledge and research. Reliable products with high quality – so you can ensure that your pet gets the help it needs.

Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support is a supplement for dogs to support the anal glands. If anal glands are not drained properly, they can become blocked and inflamed. The primary cause of this is too soft stools; this can be the case with diarrhoea.

How do you recognise problems with the anal glands?

You can tell there is a problem with the anal glands through several symptoms:

    •           Frequent "sledging": rubbing the ground with the anus
    •           Frequent licking at the anus or base of the tail
    •           A lump or wound around the anus

How does Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support work?

This supplement contains a combination of ingredients that optimally support the natural drainage of anal glands and prevents inflammation.

    •           Pumpkin seed powder is fibre-rich, ensuring proper intestinal passage and natural bowel movement. Healthy stools are essential for the natural drainage of anal glands.
    •           Apple pectin is also an insoluble fibre that ensures firm stools.
    •           Quercetin granulate is a natural antioxidant which helps prevent inflammatory reactions.
    •           Probiotics: the addition of healthy gut bacteria helps with healthy gut function.
    •           Boswellia serrata is a natural anti-inflammatory.

    Features

    •           It helps to drain the anal glands naturally
    •           Prevents congestion or inflammation of the anal glands
    •           Ensures healthy bowel movements
    •           Suitable for dogs from 12 weeks of age
    •           Easy administration. An unopened capsule is tasteless and, therefore, well-accepted. It is possible to open the capsule and mix the powder with (wet) food or a snack.

    Target animal and dosage:

Suitable for dogs from 12 weeks of age.

    Dog <10kg

    Dog 10-20kg

How do I use Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support?

For oral administration: It is possible to open the capsule and mix the powder with food or a snack. It is recommended to halve the dosage during the first week of use and gradually build up to the recommended dosage. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before starting or extending the duration of use and before exceeding the recommended amount. Dr Ann's Anal gland Support should not replace a completely balanced diet. Fresh drinking water should always be available.

Dr. Ann's Anal Gland Support - 30 capsules

My little dog used to suffer quickly from blocked anal glands, and last time the contents were no longer liquid, which was extra uncomfortable for the poor thing. Now, after four months, I had them checked and everything was normal! There was no need for the vet to empty them manually, hopefully it stays that way. In addition to this supplement, I also had to wipe the bottom with wound spray (or something containing chlorhexidine) after every poo, which may also have contributed to the results — a tip from a dermatologist that I’m happy to share with you.

Dr. Ann's Anal Gland Support - 30 capsules

Very satisfied. I had to wait and see, but now I notice that the turds are much firmer. No more rubbing the butt on the ground or biting at the tail since use.
