Excellent Equi Psyllium Plus
By giving Equi Psyllium Plus mixed with food, excess sand is allowed to leave your horse, pony or foal's body. This helps prevent bowel and digestive problems. The animal food supplement contains the so-called Psyllium fibre. This ingredient expands and forms a gel-like substance that the sand gets trapped in. Please note: If you suspect that your horse has eaten too much sand, please contact your veterinarian before administering Equi Psyllium Plus.
Dosage
Give your horse Excellent Equi Psyllium Plus for 6 consecutive days.
- Horse: 100 grams twice daily
- Pony/foal: 50 grams twice daily
You can give horses the animal food supplement mixed with their dry feed. For optimal results, you can give your horse Equi Psyllium Plus every other 12 weeks. It is important not to give this product at the same time as other medicines or supplements. Psyllium fibres have a strong absorbing capacity and may affect the absorption of these products. Therefore, give it preferably with an interval of at least 1–2 hours before or 2–3 hours after administering other medication or health products.
