The Exo Terra Desert Lamp has been specially developed for reptiles living in sunny desert environments. The lamp provides a very high UVB output comparable to direct sunlight in dry habitats. UVB rays stimulate the production of vitamin D3, which is essential for healthy calcium absorption and helps prevent metabolic bone disease. Thanks to its high light intensity, the lamp is effective up to a distance of 50 cm. The Desert Lamp is particularly suitable for terrariums with dense mesh tops, as these can filter out up to 50% of UVB radiation. The high D3 conversion supports the wellbeing and vitality of desert reptiles.
