The Exo Terra Solar Glo Heat and UVB Lamp is a self-ballasted mercury vapour lamp that mimics the benefits of natural sunlight. It provides optimal levels of UVB, UVA, visible light, and heat in one practical solution. This full spectrum light stimulates appetite, activity, breeding behaviour, and results in vivid colours in reptiles. The increased UVB penetration (more than 30 cm) aids in the production of vitamin D3, which is essential for healthy calcium absorption and preventing metabolic bone disease. Thanks to the integrated ballast, the lamp is easy to use in a standard ceramic socket.
