I sprinkle the powder, for example, on the doormat, baskets, and scratching posts. They immediately lie down and start rolling around.

It has an addictive effect on my youngest male cat, now 5 years old. He would happily spend whole days licking that delicious Matatabi powder (to him, it's like a sort of bay leaf powder;) and will sit patiently by my kitchen cupboard several times a day waiting for it. One of the older cats just wants to roll wildly through the powder. And the other two older cats usually don’t react unless quite a bit has been sprinkled on the scratching post or a toy. So the effect varies a lot per cat. They’re just like people!
