Because each pellet has the same composition, selective eating behaviour is prevented. This means your guinea pig gets a balanced amount of nutrients with every meal. The fibre-rich composition also supports healthy digestion. Thanks to the added vitamin C, this food is a good basis for your guinea pig's daily care. Fresh vegetables or fruit can be given as a supplement, but are not necessary to meet the vitamin C requirement.
For healthy intestinal function, it is important to always provide unlimited hay or other fibre-rich roughage.
