Grandorf Veterinary Diet Cat - Gluten & Grain Free - Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie is a complete dietetic food for cats with sensitive digestion, reduced nutrient absorption or disturbed fat metabolism. Thanks to the lower fat and energy content, this food is also suitable for cats that are prone to overweight or need fewer calories. The grain-free and gluten-free formula contains easily digestible turkey as the only animal protein source, with prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics and psyllium to support the gut flora and intestinal function. Omega 3 fatty acids from salmon oil and algae oil contribute to healthy skin and coat, while the herbal blend including chamomile and passionflower supports greater calm and relaxation.

Suitable for
Cats that benefit from an easily digestible food with less fat and fewer calories, for example in cases of:
- Acute or chronic diarrhoea
- Acute or chronic pancreatitis, including triaditis syndrome
- An increased level of fat in the blood (hyperlipidaemia)
- Lymphangiectasia, where the lymph vessels in the intestine do not function properly
- Excessive bacterial growth in the small intestine (SIBO)
- Reduced production of digestive enzymes by the pancreas (EPI)
- A tendency to become overweight or a lower energy requirement, for example after spaying or castration
Not suitable for
- Kittens and growing cats
- Pregnant or lactating queens
- Cats with a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients
Usage
Always consult your vet before use. In cases of reduced nutrient absorption, the recommended period of use is up to 12 weeks. For support of fat metabolism in hyperlipidaemia, the initial period of use is up to 2 months. Longer use is possible in consultation with your vet. Follow the feeding advice on the packaging for the daily amount and always provide fresh drinking water.
