Grandorf Veterinary Diet Cat - Gluten & Grain Free - Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic food for cats that react sensitively to certain ingredients or nutrients. The food contains hydrolysed rabbit protein, in which the proteins have been broken down into smaller pieces to reduce the risk of an unwanted reaction to the food. Sweet potato and potato flakes form the carbohydrate sources in this grain-free and gluten-free food. For extra digestive support, prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics have been added, while omega 3 fatty acids from salmon oil and algae oil contribute to healthy skin and coat. The herbal mix with, among others, chamomile and passionflower helps promote relaxation and is a valuable addition to the composition.

Suitable for
Adult cats with:
- Food allergy or intolerance, also as an elimination diet
- Chronic diarrhoea
- Chronic intestinal inflammation (IBD)
- Reduced production of digestive enzymes by the pancreas (EPI)
- Excessive bacterial growth in the small intestine (SIBO)
Not suitable for
- Cats with pancreatitis
- Cats with elevated blood fat levels (hyperlipidaemia)
- Kittens and growing cats
- Pregnant or nursing queens
- Cats with a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients
Usage
If a food allergy or intolerance is suspected, it is important to consult your vet first. Feed Grandorf Hypoallergenic for 3 to 8 weeks. If the symptoms disappear, the food can be used for up to 1 year in consultation with your vet. During an elimination diet, it is important not to give any other food, snacks or chew products without consulting your vet. For the daily amount, follow the feeding advice on the packaging and always provide fresh drinking water.
