Grandorf Veterinary Diet Dog - Gluten & Grain Free - Hepatic is a complete dietetic food specially developed for adult dogs with chronic liver problems or impaired copper metabolism. This grain-free and gluten-free food contains high-quality proteins, including turkey, in an adapted amount. Together with the low copper content, this helps support liver function and limit copper accumulation in the liver. For healthy digestion, prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics have been added, supplemented with omega 3 fatty acids from salmon oil and algae oil, and an herbal blend including chamomile and passion flower.

Suitable for
Adult dogs with:
- Chronic liver insufficiency
- Chronic liver inflammation, hepatitis
- Liver fibrosis, where scar tissue forms in the liver
- Liver cirrhosis
- Disorders of copper metabolism
For other liver disorders, including liver problems resulting from piroplasmosis, your vet can assess whether this food is suitable.
Not suitable for
- Dogs with pancreatitis, including if this has occurred previously
- Dogs with increased blood fat levels, hyperlipidaemia
- Puppies and growing dogs
- Pregnant or nursing bitches
- Dogs with a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients
Usage
It is recommended to consult a vet before use. Feed Grandorf Hepatic for an initial period of up to 4 months for chronic liver problems and up to 6 months for impaired copper metabolism, or longer in consultation with your vet. Follow the feeding advice on the packaging and adjust the amount according to your dog's weight, condition and needs. Always ensure plenty of fresh drinking water is available.
