The history of GRAU began with Meike, the dog of Geery and Hans Grau. Due to serious problems with her musculoskeletal system, she could hardly move. The discovery of the herbal blend HOKAMIX30 restored her quality of life. This experience formed the foundation of the GRAU brand, with the mission of supporting the health and wellbeing of other dogs as well. What began as Grau Spezialtiernahrung evolved into GRAU Generation Pet. Despite the name change, one thing has always remained the same: the belief that the wellbeing of the animal must always come first.
GRAU dry food has been developed for dogs at every stage of life, from puppy to senior. The recipes contain natural ingredients and are free from added sugars. Whether you have an active dog, a growing puppy or a dog with a sensitive digestive system, you will find a suitable option within the range.
The dry food contains high-quality dried meat. During the drying process, the meat loses moisture while the nutrients are retained. In addition, fruit and vegetables such as carrots, peas, potatoes, apples and chicory are included to provide vitamins, fibre and other essential nutrients. Supplementary ingredients such as linseed, safflower oil, salmon oil and glucosamine may help support digestion, coat condition and joint health.
GRAU wet food contains fresh meat with a high meat content and is available as a complete menu or as a mono-protein option. The recipes are suitable for dogs at different life stages and contain natural ingredients without chemical additives to influence appearance or consistency.
The menus combine meat with fruit, vegetables, minerals and carbohydrates and are gluten-free. The mono varieties contain a single protein source and consist exclusively of meat, making them suitable for dogs with allergies or intolerances. Thanks to the higher moisture content, wet food also contributes to your dog’s daily fluid intake.
As GRAU does not use chemical agents to stabilise the food, it is possible that jelly or visible fat may appear in the tin. These natural components contain valuable nutrients and can simply be fed as part of the meal.
