Groene Os Evening Primrose Oil
Groene Os Evening Primrose Oil contains a high concentration of GLA (gamma linolenic acid). The oil from the seeds of evening primrose is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The content of gamma-linolenic acid can be up to 14%. Inflammation in the body can be favourably influenced by the special composition of the oil. Evening primrose oil can be used for joint problems, especially in combination with Glucosamine Complex Special. For internal use only.
Contraindication and drug interactions
- The effect of prednisone or NSAIDs may be enhanced with concurrent use. Consult your veterinarian to see whether the dosage of prednisone or NSAIDs can be reduced.
- Evening Primrose Oil has a blood thinning effect in high doses. Therefore, high doses should be avoided during the 14 days prior to a surgical or dental procedure or when your pet is already taking blood thinners.
Dosage and administration
Horse/Pony: 10 drops 2 x daily mixed with food. With improvement of symptoms lower to 10 drops 1 x daily.
Ingredients:
Oenothera Biennis Oil (evening primrose oil), Tocopherol (vitamin E), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (sunflower oil).
During gestation and lactation, always consult with a veterinarian.
