HabiStat Leopard Gecko Substrate
The HabiStat Leopard Gecko Substrate is specifically designed for leopard geckos and other desert species. The natural mix of clay, sand, and gravel forms an absorbent substrate that promotes digging. The particles retain moisture when sprayed, creating damp spots similar to hiding places found in the wild. Leopard geckos use these areas during shedding or when they need extra humidity. The substrate thereby encourages natural digging behaviour. All HabiStat substrates are supplied in fully recyclable and biodegradable paper bags. Before use, the substrate should be evenly spread to a depth of 5 to 7.5 centimetres.
