Harrison's Bird Bread Mix Omega
Harrison's Bird Bread Mix Omega is an organic baking mix for preparing your own bird bread. The mix offers an alternative to standard bird snacks and can optionally be supplemented with vegetables, fruit or nuts. Bird Bread Mix Omega can also be used during the transition to Harrison's food, for administering liquid medicines, as food to hide and encourage foraging, or moistened as soft food for birds feeding chicks. The prepared bird bread can be served warm or cold. Without the addition of fruit, vegetables or nuts, once the bird has switched to Harrison's food, it may make up to 30% of the daily diet. With these additions, the bread is considered a treat and, together with other treats, may make up a maximum of 10% of the daily diet. As Harrison's Bird Bread Mix Omega contains no preservatives, it is important to store the prepared bread properly. After baking, it will keep for up to 1 week in the refrigerator and up to 6 weeks in the freezer.

Preparation advice
Preheat the oven to 177 °C. Mix the entire contents of the pack with 2 whole organic eggs without shells, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of sustainably sourced palm fruit oil or another high-quality organic vegetable oil, and 1 cup (235 ml) of water. For a lower fat content, the egg yolks may be omitted. Divide the mixture into a greased loaf tin or muffin cases and bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Do not use cookware with a PTFE non-stick coating, as the fumes are toxic to birds.
