Hill's s/d Feline has been specially developed for cats suffering from urinary tract conditions. Hill s/d Prescription Diet was composed by veterinarians to dissolve struvite crystals and stones in your cat.

Struvite

Urinary tract conditions are often caused by the formation of mineral-based crystals and stones in the urinary tract. These stones and crystals can cause discomfort, and may result in blood in the urine and even life-threatening obstructions. Struvite occurs when there is too much protein, phosphorus and magnesium in the urine, along with an alkaline urinary pH.

Not suitable for

• Kittens
• Pregnant or lactating cats
• Cats that receive simultaneous urinary acidifiers
• Cats with non-struvite bladder stones
• Cats with kidney disease, low potassium, heart problems or hypertension

Adjust the amount to maintain optimal body weight.

Composition

Chicken (18%) and turkey meal, brewer’s rice, maize, animal fat, maize gluten meal, soya oil, dried whole eggs, minerals, hydrolysed protein, vitamins, trace elements and beta-carotene. With a natural antioxidant (mixed tocopherols).

Protein 32.1%, fat content 22.9%, crude fibre 0.67%, crude ash 5.9%, chlorides 1.1%, sulphur 0.75%, calcium 0.87%, phosphorus 0.69%, sodium 0.32%, potassium 0.91%, magnesium 0.06%, per kg: vitamin A 6,729 IU, vitamin D3 559 IU, vitamin E 525 mg, beta-carotene 1.5 mg.
