Hurtta Cooling Wrap - Light Blue

The elastic that keeps the whole thing closed, as well as the buckle that allows you to shorten or lengthen it, are too large and not suitable for the small model intended for small dogs. I have a 4kg dog, I used the Keep Cool before and I’ll go back to it because my dog is too cramped in the one I bought from you.

It’s quite tricky to keep our dog (Bernese Mountain Dog) cool in the summer. We already have several products (cooling collar, cooling mat, fan, dog pool), and have now added this wrap to the mix. I was a bit anxious because it’s quite pricey and I wasn’t sure if it would help. But the wrap works! Especially when we set the fan to a low setting, she’s sufficiently cooled down again in about 10-15 minutes. The wrap evaporates really well, her coat doesn’t get wet or heavy, but if you put your hand underneath you can feel the cooling effect. I’m just not sure yet how best to clean the wrap (this wasn’t on the labels), but I’m guessing a gentle hand wash.

The jacket seems to be of good quality. But as soon as I unpacked it, I realised this is going to be a nightmare to put on. Either you wriggle your dog through it, or you undo everything, which means when the dog is wearing it, you have to thread the straps through the loops again. Probably fine if you have a calm, cooperative dog... I sent it back immediately because of this.

I ordered this for my big, deep chested Boxer, I’ve had to send it back as it was the biggest size but didn’t fit. I think it is a design that’s more fitting for a smaller breed of dog not tge large breeds. But as it is Hurtta it is very good quality.
