Are you stuck between 2 sizes? We recommend taking the smaller size as this product has a wide fit.
What if the Hurtta Expedition Parka doesn't fit?
To check if the dog coat fits, you may remove the vest from the packaging and hold it next to your pet. This way you can check if it fits. For hygienic reasons, you may not return the jacket if it has been in contact with your pet. If we find on return that the vest has been stained, worn, contains dog hair, smells dirty or washed, the product will not be returned to you. It will then be for the benefit of a charity (local shelter). As we are often confronted with products that are not returned in new condition, we unfortunately have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning.

I bought this for my little Chihuahua girl, already have one each for the 3 boy's. These are my favourite brand of dog coats, cover their whole back, don't stop inches short of the tail like a lot of brands do, fully adjustable and a bonus is the attached harness in the 2 smallest sizes. I always feel my dog's are toasty warm with these coats on and I honestly can't fault them. They are expensive but I'm sure they'll last for many years and you do get what you pay for.

Although I stubbornly ordered the coat one size too big, it fits very well. Our podenco is happy with it and despite all the recent cold days, he happily continued going for walks. Very good quality and really convenient that the harness can be worn underneath. I definitely recommend this coat. Perhaps a bit more expensive to buy, but definitely worth the money.

Bought this coat for our dog in the very cold weather. We needed some advice about which size to buy as her measurements did not fit the choices offered - her neck is quite small but her back is comparatively long. We were advised to buy the right size for the length of her back which turned out to be fine as it is possible to adjust the neck size. It is quite easy to put on, and very warm. She can run about in it without any problem. We haven't tested it in heavy rain, but it looks as though it should be waterproof. One slight problem: There is a rainproof hole to put the lead through so that you can attach it to a harness, but in our dog's case the hole was a bit too far down her back, which made the harness fitting hard to reach. I made a little extension which clips onto the harness and pokes through the jacket which works well. This jacket is expensive, but it is a quality product, and should keep our dog warm and dry through everything that our British weather can throw at us!
