Kasper Faunafood Anseres 3 Maintenance Pellets
Kasper Faunafood Anseres 3 Maintenance Pellets is a plant-based special feed for waterfowl such as ducks, geese and swans. The feed is suitable from 12 weeks of age and is intended for use outside the breeding season. The 2.5 mm pellet contains extra vitamins and organically bound trace elements, including zinc and selenium, which contribute to good plumage. In addition, the feed contains multiple carotene sources that support the natural colouring of the beak, legs and feathers. The amino acid pattern is also tailored to maintaining a healthy feather coat. The maintenance pellet can be supplied either dry or lightly moistened in a feed bowl. For extra variety and stimulation of natural foraging behaviour, up to 25% grain mix can be given alongside this complete feed.

Feeding guidelines
Feed from 12 weeks of age and outside the breeding season as a complete feed. Feed intake depends on the breed, age and weight of the waterfowl. Waterfowl may be fed without restriction. In the winter period, maintenance requirements are higher due to the absence of natural food and the lower outside temperature. Waterfowl living in a spacious outdoor enclosure with natural planting generally need less feed. In addition to a complete feed, give up to 25% grain mix to promote foraging behaviour. Always provide sufficient fresh drinking water. Also provide grit and gastroliths if these are not already present in the daily diet, so that grains can be properly ground in the gizzard.
