Kasper Faunafood Sheep and Lamb Muesli
Kasper Faunafood Sheep and Lamb Muesli is formulated as a supplement to roughage such as hay, straw or grass. The muesli contains a high proportion of protein, which contributes to good milk production in ewes and a good start for growing lambs. For young lambs, good rumen development is essential. That is why the feed contains vanilla flavouring, which increases palatability and encourages young animals to take in concentrate feed at an early stage. This supports rumen development and allows lambs to gradually switch from milk to solid feed. The fibre-rich composition, including alfalfa, oat husks and beet pulp, contributes to healthy rumen function. Sufficient fibre stimulates chewing, which is important for good digestion. Because sheep are sensitive to copper, no copper has been added to this feed.

Feeding guidelines
Provide as a supplement to roughage such as hay, straw or grass. The amount of concentrate feed depends on the roughage ration, the weight and the condition of the animals. During the mating season and lactation period, supplementary feeding may be necessary. Use the condition of the animals as a guide for the daily amount. Always ensure sufficient fresh, clean drinking water. For animals kept outdoors, provide extra roughage and concentrate feed during frost and snow.
