Kidney problems are a common occurrence in dogs, whether they are young or old. Kidney problems often go hand in hand with picky eating and a lack of appetite. Determining what type of food is suitable for your dog with kidney problems (whilst also being something that they enjoy eating) can be quite a long search. Because of this, Vetsend has put together a special taster pack for dogs with kidney problems. The taster pack contains different types of diet kidney food by brands such as Royal Canin, Specific, Hill's and Purina Pro Plan. These come in a range of different flavours. As dogs with kidney problems prefer wet food, this taster pack contains trial sized pouches/tins of wet food that will help you determine what diet is best for your dog!

Tip! You can add some warm water or heat up the wet food a little to reinforce the smell and taste of the food.

The packaging of Specific is currently being renewed: packaging has been made more user-friendly. Furthermore, Specific has a new composition. Its new wet food for dogs contains more fish oil and is made from pork. If your dog is familiar with allergies, always check the new composition beforehand.
