What makes Kivo Petfood so special?
The minerals and vitamins in this food are extracted from natural sources. The use of artificial fragrances, colouring and flavouring is excluded and grains, gluten, synthetic vitamin mixes and E-numbers are also not on the menu! Kivo Petfood values the idea that dogs and cats can live as nature intended. This is achieved by using the correct ratio of muscle meat, organ meat and bone/carcass. Just like in nature, Kivo Petfood offers a wide range of animal species so that your loyal friend gets enough variation in amino acids and nutrients.
A Little History with Grandpa Bert
Kivo Petfood was founded by Grandpa Bert. Grandpa Bert was a passionate dog breeder who was well known in the town where he lived. He not only bred breeds such as Mastiffs and Boxers, he also had a healing gift. He treated all sorts of ailments in dogs and, later, in people by transmitting energy. According to Grandpa Bert, a natural diet was also part of this. A diet inspired by prey animals of wolves in nature. He believed that dogs stay healthiest when they are fed a diet that their bodies are designed for. This is why he developed his own unique recipe and that was how Kivo Petfood was born. With Grandpa Bert, Kivo Petfood was one of the first companies in the Dutch market to start with fresh meat for dogs! This makes Kivo Petfood on of the oldest raw pet food brands in the Netherlands.

Steamed meals
Our Kivo Petfood assortment includes Kivo Steamed meals. These sausages have a shelf life of up to 18 months outside the freezer or refrigerator. This makes them the ideal replacement for raw meat, for example during holidays.
Dry food

Snacks
