Medical Pet Shirt Boot

The shoe offers plenty of space but is unfortunately far too large to be tightened securely and keeps slipping. Unfortunately, this doesn’t just happen when trotting but also when walking normally. What’s particularly disappointing, and caused by the poor fit, was the wear just above the rubber sole. With duct tape, the shoe lasted barely two weeks. It would be advisable to think about better fastening around the fetlock and the leg; otherwise, it will keep slipping and never stay on the paw!

It stays in place well and is sturdy enough. But because it doesn’t breathe, a fresh wound doesn’t dry out. That doesn’t help and just extends the healing time. Now he can only wear it at night, and during the day I have to keep an eye on it constantly with a sock over his paw. I expected more.

It should have been good enough in a rain shower. But when it rains, there are puddles too. My little dog loves walking through them! I thought… that's why I bought these, to keep his bandage dry. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. A shame, definitely not worth thirty euros. A plastic bag works just as well!

After an injury, my dog has two splints on his front paws. These boots keep them nice and clean and have grip thanks to the rubber soles. So far, very happy with them. One downside... I ordered two pairs and both have an elastic band at the top that secures the cover neatly around the paw. Unfortunately, both got accidentally sewn in, so I can no longer use that elastic.

Having had surgery on his hind leg, we were told that our collie must keep the plaster completely dry and clean for the 6 weeks he would have wear it. We knew it would be a challenge but this waterproof boot has made it so much easier. It reaches right up to the top his thigh where the plaster ends and because of the grippy foot, he doesn't slip. This product has been a Godsend and I would thoroughly recommend it.
