Sweating not only leads to a loss of fluids, but also leads to a loss of electrolytes. To restore its electrolyte balance, you can give your horse or pony Electro Lytes from NAF Equine. This animal food supplement contains the four electrolytes - potassium, sodium, chloride and magnesium - that help prevent dehydration, among other things.
Dosage
How many Electro Lytes can I give my horse? Per day Horse during peak performance time (1 - 3 days) 90 ml Horse during competitions (1 - 3 days) 60 ml Horse maintenance dosage 30 ml Ponies during competitions 30 - 60 ml Pony maintenance dosage 15 - 30 ml The liquid can be administered directly into the horse or pony's mouth or mixed with feed. Please note: Ensure that your horse or pony always has plenty of drinking water available.
