My little dog used to eat his meals in under five seconds. With the new Vetsend fun dish she takes nearly five minutes. I am sure this is healthier for her. Glad that I found a solution to her bolting her food as she had to before she was rescued from poachers kennels. AM

Health Problems
Many dogs today have unnatural eating habits which can lead to health problems. Gastric torsion (bloating) is a condition that is mainly common in large breeds, and this is partly due to eating too quickly. When dogs eat too quickly they often tend to eat too much. As a result, they can become overweight. Being overweight increases the risk of heart disease, heat stroke and respiratory diseases. In short: slow eating in a natural way reduces the risk of health problems.
Outward Hound - Fun Feeder
This food bowl of Outward Hound provides a simple solution for all dogs who devour their food too quickly. The Fun Feeder is available in different versions/puzzles. The shape of the bowl makes it harder to eat, and this prevents your dog from eating too quickly.
